Which size should I choose for my espresso machine?
We offer three precision-engineered sizes to ensure a perfect fit for your setup:
51mm: Fits most standard 51mm baskets, common in machines like Delonghi or La Pavoni.
53.3mm: Specifically designed for a snug fit in Breville / Sage 54mm portafilters.
58.35mm: The professional standard for E61 group heads and precision baskets (like VST/IMS). The extra 0.35mm ensures edge-to-edge coverage to prevent any grounds from escaping.
Why do I need a magnetic dosing ring?
The magnetic dosing ring acts as a funnel that sits securely on your portafilter. It prevents coffee grounds from spilling or "flying" during grinding and WDT distribution. This keeps your coffee station spotless and ensures that 100% of your measured dose ends up in the basket, not on your counter.
Are the magnets strong enough to stay in place?
Absolutely. We use multiple high-strength N52 neodymium magnets embedded into the base. They provide a firm, stable grip on stainless steel baskets, yet remain easy to lift off once you are ready to tamp.
What is the benefit of the Puck Screen included in the set?
The Puck Screen is placed on top of your leveled coffee. It serves two main purposes:
