Popspresso Classic WDT Tool with Stand
Master your espresso distribution with the Popspresso Classic WDT Tool with Magnetic Stand. This professional coffee needle distributor is designed to break up clumps effortlessly, ensuring a uniform coffee bed for maximum flavor extraction and rich crema without any channeling.
Why choose our classic WDT Tool with stand:
-
Adjustable Needle Angle for Better Distribution: Customize your workflow to fit your extraction style! The bottom collar rotates seamlessly to adjust the needle spread angle. This allows you to create a wider or narrower coverage, making it incredibly easy to break up stubborn coffee clumps and reach every corner of any portafilter size.
-
Premium Stand with Magnetic Dock: No more messy counters or bent needles. This tool comes with a heavy-duty, standalone base featuring a built-in magnetic dock. Simply place the tool near the base, and it will snap securely into an upright position, keeping your workspace organized and the needles safe from damage.
-
Ergonomic Anti-Slip Textured Grip: The aluminum handle is engineered with a premium geometric textured pattern. It provides an exceptional, comfortable grip and precise control while stirring, making your puck preparation routine a tactile pleasure.
-
0.35mm Food-Grade Stainless Steel Needles: Equipped with ultra-fine, flexible 304 stainless steel needles, this tool cuts through stubborn coffee clumps seamlessly without disrupting the overall distribution of your portafilter basket.
-
Eliminate Channeling Completely: By creating a perfectly loose and fluffy coffee bed before tamping, water flows evenly through the grounds, locking in the sweet, balanced notes of your espresso and avoiding bitter, uneven extraction.

FAQs
How do I adjust the needle spread angle?
It’s very simple! Hold the handle and gently rotate the collar at the bottom clockwise or counterclockwise. This expands or narrows the needle spread, allowing you to customize the coverage for different portafilter basket sizes.
Is the magnetic stand heavy enough? Will it tip over easily?
Not at all. The base is engineered with heavy-duty weighted materials and a non-slip bottom. Combined with the strong integrated magnets, the WDT tool snaps firmly into place and stays completely stable on your coffee bar.
What is the thickness of the needles?
The needles are precisely 0.35mm in diameter—the gold standard for espresso distribution. They are made from flexible, food-grade 304 stainless steel, which is blunt and safe enough to move through the coffee smoothly .
How should I clean the WDT tool and the needles?
Simply wipe the handle and base with a dry or slightly damp cloth. For the needles, a quick brush off of coffee grounds is usually enough. Do not submerge the tool in water or put it in the dishwasher to protect the anodized aluminum and magnetic components.
